"The Strong Man Is Mightiest Alone" - German Proverb

Name: MOH_SKYFISH
Favorite Aircraft: Me-109
Timezone: GMT+13
Hometown: New Zealand
Languages understood: German, English
Date of Inauguration: June 2, 2008

With great trepidation the 4 MOH aircraft sped single file down the runway and gently lifted into the air. A great battle lay ahead and all knew that more than one pilot might fall to the enemy’s guns. Reflections of happy times with loved ones pervaded the thoughts of those gallant gentleman as they flew into the morning sun and towards an uncertain destiny.

On this day however, there was one comfort akin to these MOH pilots. It was knowing that MOH_SKYFISH was within the schwarm flying his Me-109G-10. This Valiant fighter was flying rotte with MOH_KIWI, another of the squadrons Me-109G-10 combat pilots. MOH_SKYFISH was legendary among his MOH brethren. He had earned a reputation for being a ferocious dogfighter in both the Me-109 and FW-190. He was fearless and undeterred by overwhelming odds, often charging headlong into a furball to save a comrade no matter the potential cost to himself. All knew that SKYFISH, hardened in the forges of battle, had no equal in spirit and determination and would do whatever he could to assist his wingman. SKYFISH also knew that MOH_KIWI was of the same ilk as himself and could be thoroughly counted upon to keep his six clear.

Over the RW crackled the voice of the great ACE and flight leader MOH_WEG. "4 enemy aircraft approaching low from the west, keep tight to your wing and engage at will". At this command, engines screamed as aircraft peeled off one by one and dived into the attack. Machine guns rattled, cannons thumped. Embroiled in a furball, desperate pilots maneuvered for advantage. Terrified BANDITS unprepared for combat with an expert pilot like SKYFISH desperately maneuvered for advantage. Twisting and turning his agile aircraft with uncommon incredible skill, SKYFISH repeatedly raked bandit after bandit with gunfire. Enemy aircraft everywhere trailed ribbons of black oil smoke, streams of velvety coolant or trails of crystalline fuel vapor. One bandit somersaulted out the sky having lost vital control surfaces while another, simulating a fiery comet, illuminated the horizon.

MOH_SKYFISH as always was responsive to the perils of his comrades and repeatedly cleared the MOH six. Calls for help by his wingman were shortly drowned out by shouts and cheers as SKYFISH cleared their six. As was typical of this bold pilot on this day, he achieved many great kills while saving a comrades life.

As the sound of battle became a memory, the vanquished littered the Soviet steppes. The MOH schwarm turned for home under the ever watchful eye of their champion MOH_SKYFISH.
