"HE WHO SEES FIRST, LIVES THE LONGEST"

Name: MOH_MAX
Favorite Aircraft: Me-109 series
Timezone: GMT -5
Hometown: Virginia, USA
Languages understood: English
Age: 47
Date of Inauguration: January 25, 2004

As he climbed into the cockpit of his familiar Karfurst, MOH_MAX could hear the rolling thunder of the guns at the front and knew full well that somewhere in the sky overhead would be found his embattled MOH comrades. Instinct told him that they anxiously awaited his return.

Activating the ignition, MAX's aircraft coughed to life. Carefully, he coursed the idling bird to the edge of the main runway. Last minute checks were made before MAX hit full throttle and MW-50 Boost. The powerful 2000hp DB605ASCM/DCM engine roared and quickly propelled the Me-109 down the strip. As the ground beneath him gave way, a feeling of pride enveloped him. MAX knew he was again underway and off to the aid of his comrades.

Several minutes of flying and 1500m later brought MAX into heavy clouds. With nothing other than his compass to guide him he forged blindly on through the haze in a NNW direction. Lack of spare parts kept his radio in disrepair. Such was the unfortunate situation in 1944 communist Russia. Visual contact with his comrades would be vital for him to assist them. Minute by minute, the time ticked by. Impatiently MAX rubbed the inside of his windscreen as though it might clear away the billowing fog. All before him was persistently obscured.

A sudden clearing dazzled MAX as he readjusted to his new found sight. Then, 90 degrees to port, he saw an image which shook him to the core…..It was FOX!!!!!!……….With engine sputtering and coughing black streams of smoke, MOH_MADMAN was weaving erratically to and fro. His desperate efforts to evade a pursuer were visibly failing. Tracers could be seen whizzing by the canopy of his "Gustav". The situation looked grim indeed. MAX knew what he must do and banked heavily over into the direction of his imperiled comrade.

Startled by the scream of a heavily taxed engine and the roar of a Mk-108 30mm cannon, MOH_MADMAN snapped his head around to see his salvation. There was a flash and a load "KABOOM"……then suddenly silence and calm, save the fading sound of a lone aircraft.MOH_MAX had once again plucked a comrade from the jaws of an untimely demise.
